about cote foundation

Tim and his 3 brothers grew up a little rough around the edges. Through their hardships, they found  salvation in Jesus Christ. The hardships, were made easier, but with a new burden: to share God’s life. With a deep calling to meet the immediate needs of the suffering, Tim served the homeless with food, clothing, and other necessities, including hope that only Christ can give.  Though God provided, the need was greater than one person could do. The Lord led these brothers to establish the Cote Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3), as a step of faith, believing God’s promises.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

Luke 4.18-19

Jesus met the practical necessities of His people. He healed, fed and comforted those in need. Afterward,

He revealed  the greater need, the need for a Savior.

That’s our job, now.

We provide for needs as we’re enabled by God.
Nutritional food, clothing, hygiene kits, new, bright, clean socks. We want to offer things worthy of King’s kids, things that befit the identity of new creations in Christ.

As we provide these immediate needs, we “earn the right” to be heard, to love them with the greatest gift; the gift that everyone needs.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
