Cote Foundation creates multiple ministries to meet the immediate needs of the hungry, sick and depressed.

feed the hungry
comfort the depressed
help the sick

“Like a shepherd He will tend His flock,

In His arm He will gather the lambs And carry them in His bosom;

He will gently lead the nursing ewes.”

Isaiah 40:11

Jesus Christ came to His creation as a humble servant, an example of an obedient, faithful Son. He also came to die on the cross as total payment for sin that separated us from God.

In his earthly ministry:

“The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”

Matthew 11:5

“Seeing the people, He felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.”

Matthew 9.36
When Jesus met people in His earthly ministry, He most often addressed the physical needs they were keenly aware of first. Then addressing the most important need for everyone. That is a living relationship with God.

“If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,' and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that? Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.”

James 2:15-17

What the Cote Foundation desires to do is meet people where they are, meet their most immediate need so that we may ‘earn the right’ to be heard.

“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.”

John 3.6

We know good deeds alone will not change the spiritual bankruptcy of the lost,
but by our service we will reveal a living faith,
motivated by Christ’s love,
empowered by the Spirit,
and submitted to our Father’s plan.

“For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.”

Hebrews 4:15

As Jesus served compassionately, without compromise, we are serving our neighbors, meeting their need as the Lord leads though sharing our faith, time, and resources as we are led.

John 4:35-36

lift up your eyes and look on the fields, that they are white for harvest. Already he who reaps is receiving wages and is gathering fruit for life eternal; so that he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together.
